Tomorrow, folks!
Marina Abramović: Balkan Erotic Epic
Factory International in Manchester is hosting the world premiere of Marina Abramović: Balkan Erotic Epic
Elke will explore the role of a “Flemish scientist” who studies Balkan Magic! Come, listen and find me as I narrate and guide you through this four-hour long ritual. I am going from Marina Abramović’s House With Ocean View performance in 2022 at the Royal Academy in London to becoming a narrator. I will guide you through mythology, eroticism and performance art. During this 4-hour long ritual I will craft how my body is related to the power, mystery and transformation of this work.
I am preparing now! Performing in Manchester on 9 - 19 Oct 2025! Get your tickets!

Residency at Kings County Hospital
In July we began a residency at the psychiatric wards at Kings County Hospital in Brooklyn, support by the Beautiful Distress Foundation out of Amsterdam.
We are studying expressions of mental illness in movement and considering the impact on choreography.
We will be living in the hospital for 12 months during which we will be learning about care and institutionalization, bureaucracy and consent, ethics and art. It is through our practice and our outreach that we are trying to find ways to reduce the stigma of mental illness.
This project has been a long time coming for us and we're thrilled for all of the support, training and access we've been given by the staff at Kings County.
